KU Libraries Git Workshop In-Person

This three-hour hands-on workshop uses the Software Carpentry Git lesson to introduce version control and practice using a common version control tool, Git, in individual and group contexts. To participate in this workshop, you will need to bring a laptop with a Mac, Windows, or Linux operating system (not a tablet or a Chromebook) that you have software installation privileges on. You will also need to install some software prior to the workshop. The list of software and instructions are available at the workshop site. For assistance installing the software, arrive at the workshop by 8:45 am. Full workshop details are available at the KU Libraries Git Workshop site.
